Can you imagine how funny does it look like when an 1300 c.c. Even since 2002, there are still a lot of limitations applied on motorcycle riders. Due to the funny regulations in Taiwan, there were no unlimited motorcycle licenses issued until 2002 and only few heavy motorcycles can be ridden on road legally. Some friends thought that I have too much money to waste but I don't think so. One thing that I don't even know if I'll have a second chance. When I knew I have to stay in Tokyo till the end of September, I knew I have enough time to do this. Ich hab‘ unzähl‘ge Seiten vollgeschrieben, See, the life is not so hard in the future provided that we won't be extinguished in 2012. These technologies are mostly interdiscipline research and are supposed to be ready in the following decades.

The cars equiped with those sensors and algorithms will soon replace the drivers or assist them to avoid the accidents and thus save lifes and costs. Finally the autonomous vehicles are the last technology which were addressed. generate light, in order to help physicians to identify and to monitor the cancer cells. The spies here are moleculars which can scan and detect the specific cancer cells and mark them, e.g. Why would you put spies into your body? The term sounds dangerous but they are here for good. The technologies sound interesting but how can they make money out of it? Of course they don't do this for charity, thinking of the negotiation of emissions trading will make this all resonable.
The idea is to capture the CO2 from the emitted gas and store it in some depleted reservoirs. Apart from renewable energy, battery technologies, and energy efficiency, one concept that I kept hearing from different sources is the carbon dioxide capture and storage. Green energy is no doubt world wide hot topic.

Cyberlearning seems not to be a new idea however it seems to be the right time to implement this concept thanks to smarter portable devices and more advanced human machine interface. That's why the researchers are focusing on a narrow goal to avoid the controversy. Of course the ethic issues and the fear of these cells being turned into cancers are inevitable. It's not surprising that controlling the behavior of stem cell can rejuvenate the cells of old bodies. Five areas are addressed, they are "Reserving The Aging Process", "Learning in a Networked World", "Providing Energy Without Greenhouse Gas Emissions", "Molecular Spies to Trace and Image Cancer", "Driving Without Accidents" respectively. Today I listened to a panel discussion talking about "Life Changing Technologies" which are currently explored by the researchers in Stanford University. I hope I am not too old to do this stuff, at least not mentally. In the end, I found that it is still too far to participate the skate-nite and I do need more practices. If you look at my protector, you will know how tough day it was. On one fall at braking I got my elbow wounded even though I was wearing the protector. However my body seemed not flexible enough to get a smooth movement and good balance, therefore I kept falling down when I sped up. I tried some basic skills described on the instruction video then I started sliding using my old memory. The Messeplatz was quite empty today and that's good for practicing.
Honestly I've never mastered the inline-skate even thought I tried several times in the past. Finally, today had some break of the raining in the afternoon so I went out to the Messeplatz for the first practice after so many years of interruption. :-) After that, I missed the safety workshop because of the misunderstanding of the rendezvous and the kick-off event was canceled because of the rain. So, I went the the shop (which was exactly the same place I bought the back protector, another story, actually) and bought the cheapest shoes in their stock. I was aware of this kind of events when I was in Munich but never made my mind to participate, but this time I thought maybe I could get to know the city while doing this and it's kinda cool. He told me about the coming inline-skate event in the city and one shop to get outlet skates. Story began with a lunch conversation with my colleague in canteen.
